I've never been to Utah, but I enjoyed the vicarious trip you took us on. What an amazing sky, and how interesting with the Extraterrestial Highway sign! Kind of creepy, eh? Fortunately, the sun came out in the end.
We drove to St. George a couple of years ago, but I don't remember that highway! We could have come from a different angle however. I do remember the big beautiful skies though! Lovely pictures!

Bellezza and rhapsodyinbooks-The Extraterrestial Highway is still in Nevada and far from St. George.
I was fascinated but I didn't know the story how the highway name came about.
