Wednesday walk

It was a cool morning, a thin fog covered the hills. But the colors on the trail were vivid and sharp.

I glimpsed a bird of prey sweeping overhead and then became

two as if balancing the sky on their wings.

A fisherman bundled and seated watched the tide flowed upstream.
Walking I shared the greetings that the morning offered at the Kennedy Park, along the river.

Henry Thoreau once wrote: "We shall see but little way if we require to understand what we see. How few things can a man measure with the tape of his understanding! How many greater things might he be seeing in the meanwhile."

I love the way you took us on the walk! And that Thoreau quote was thought provoking.

Beautiful! The bird balancing the sky on its wings ia magnificant idea. We need not understand everything. Our ancient soul already knows and looks at the passing moments as reappearing recollections.

Your blog is wonderful!
